The OrSlow Type 2 Denim Jacket, harkening back to its 1950s origins, maintains the iconic front pleats found on the Type 1, while adding two front pockets for a touch of modernity. The back belt is replaced with a hem belt adjuster, creating a more refined silhouette and transforming the piece from a simple workwear style to a fashionable Western wear item. This elevated design was a favoured choice among actors and musicians active during the 1950s-1960s.
Crafted with carefully selected original selvedge denim, the fabric features natural irregularities reminiscent of vintage denim, which develop a unique patina over time through wear and washings.
