Bearing the name of its founder René Lacoste, the French sporting label represented among the first few sporting brands founded by a sporting legend.. In the prime of his tennis career, Lacoste would develop a polo shirt which would soon be an important mark through the preppy sporting ranks of both tennis and golf.
