Beams Plus draws from traditional Americana aesthetics to reinterpret a sportswear staple with the Short Sleeve Cut-off. This garment is both lightweight and breathable, making it an ideal choice for the seasonal shift from spring to summer. Featuring cut-off cuffs with lock stitching, it offers a soft touch for more relaxed days, with the cuffs serving as a distinctive design element. The fabric is crafted from Japanese heavyweight fleece, utilising a size of 30/30/7 and produced on the rare Azuma knitting machine. This machine, developed in the 1970s, marked a significant evolution from loop knitting to high-speed knitting, yet remains scarce, with only a few still in operation. Its slow knitting speed, producing only 1 to 2 turns per day, results in a uniquely soft and puffy texture.
